Austin Rewilding and Woodcraft

Sticks and Stones... can start a fire, make a shelter, etc.

rewild, v : to return to a more natural or wild state; the process of undoing domestication. Synonyms: undomesticate, uncivilize.

As Rewilders we seek to undo the domestication of ourselves - our hearts, minds, bodies, and communities - and the domestication of our fellow species - plant and animal and mineral - as well as the biosphere Herself. We do this through learning and sharing the advanced "primitive" technologies - material, intellectual, and spiritual - necessary to prepare for the transition into a post-civilisational era.

This group is for rewilders in the Austin, Central Texas, and Hill Country region to network and build community, to rewild ourselves by any means necessary, including the Internet (while it lasts).
